Zons - the mediaeval Town of Zons

Zons war eine mittelalterliche Zollfestung der Kurfürsten von Köln. Sie bestand bis 1794 als die linksrheinischen Rheinlande an Frankreich fielen.

Zons was built by the Electors of Cologne as a fortress for collecting customs from the middle ages until 1794.
