Lindau am Bodensee war
eine Reichsstadt die im Krieg unzerstört blieb. Das
Alte Rathauswurde gotisch erbaut und im Renaissancestil 1576
umgebaut. In
der Altstadt kann man noch viele Bürgerhäuser aus dem 16.
und 17. Jahrhundert
sehen. Von der Stadtbefestigung blieben große Teile
erhalten.

Imperial
City until 1802 that remained undestroyed during World War II.
The old
Town Hall was built in the style of
Gothic
architecture but was renovated in 1576
in
Renaissance style. In the old town one sees numerous houses from
the 16th
and 17th century. Major parts of the town wall are still intact. |
