Ingolstadt findet man zahlreiche sehenswerte Kirchen, wovon aber
die außergewöhnlichste
die
Asamkirche (Maria de Victoria Kirche) ist. Sie gilt als der
Höhepunkt des Schaffens der
Asam-Brüder. Die
Moritzkirche ist die älteste Kirche der Stadt. Das
Neue Schloss und das
Liebefrauenmünster stammen aus der Zeit als Ingolstadt Sitz des
Herzogtum Bayern-Ingolstadt
war (1392-1447). Die Altstadt hat insgesamt
582 Baudenkmäler. Ingolstadt ist am
Donauradweg
gelegen
und eine Stadt in der man Halt macht.
