Schwäbisch Hall
Sehenswürdigkeiten in Deutschland
Schwäbisch Hall wurde im Krieg von Zerstörung verschont, weshalb
man
eine intakte Altstadt vorfindet, deren meiste Gebäude aus der Zeit
nach
dem Großbrand 1728 stammen. Besonders hervorzuheben sind das
barocke
Rathaus (Foto),
Pranger und Marktbrunnen sowie die
St. Michael Kirche.
Die meisten alten Häuser sind
Fachwerkbauten, darunter eines aus dem Jahr 1289.
Sights in Germany -
Schwäbisch Hall was not destroyed during World War II
and therefore has
an intact old town with buildings dating back to 1728 when
the town was
destroyed by a big fire. Worth mentioning are the Baroque
town hall
(photo), the pillory, the market fountain and St. Michael’s church.
Most houses are timber frame houses. The oldest house in town dates back to
1289.
